Visit #7

TS I have talked many times about comfortability and I believe I am very comfortable at the Boys and Girls Club of America.  SD When I came to the Claude Chester School it was snack time for the kids.  CM I sat near a group of a girls and they reminded me of when I was littler and we would have a "buffet" of our snacks and all share.  CM This is exactly what these girls did, which made me smile of the thought of the old days.  SD I had a chance to help a little boy named Ajia on his math homework.  CM I felt comfortable with helping Ajia with Math because I actually knew what to do.  CM It wasn't just something that I was learning now.  SD THe whole thought of being comfortable with these children was setting in.  CM I was now able to not feel bad about telling another kid that they should quiet down or focus on their homework.  CM I think in the earlier visits I thought that it would be too mean to tell a kid to do that.  CS Now that I am fully comfortable, I can come in with confidence and interact with the kids.
