Visit #5
TS Arriving back to the Boys and Girls Club of America was exciting. SD They always remember you and they want to have a lot of friends. CM A little girl, Rocel, she remembered me from the day before and asked me to sit next to her. CM She got really excited and was talking to me a lot although I had to remind her to keep on reading so she didn't distract anybody else. SD I enjoyed Power Hour, when the kids did their homework. CM It felt good that I could actually help someone out with homework that was a lot easier than the homework we do now in school. CM Some of the kids get too distracted and start wiggling in their chairs because they know that free time is in a few minutes. SD The more and more the kids speak out they loose minutes off their free time. CM I am lucky enough I don't have to tell them that. CM Mr. Bob was trying to tell the kids about making the right moves in friendship and they kept on speaking out without raising their hands which made them loose a lot of minutes. CS This visit made me remember when I was younger and I got in trouble with my friends for goofing off and not sitting still because we wanted to play.
