Metaphors:
An Essay of Characters Wrapped With Descriptions
TS Metaphors are used throughout life describing the multiple characters of people. CM It helps to paint pictures for people who can't see what beauty is, helps the laughs go around the world. CM They are little helpful tools that stride before all the others in the English language.
TS Metaphors are used every day to describe the people of the world such as Mr. Bob Ewell. SD Mr. Bob Ewell, being known as a "red little rooster" truly embraces his metaphor. CM The way Harper Lee describes Mr. Ewell seems to put the picture right in your mind. CM His appearances has "red little rooster" written all over him: "-we saw that his face was as red as his neck" (Lee, page 227). SD As the whole town knows, Mr. Ewell is known for his ways of living life, and most people scold him for that (compound-complex sentence). CM He often walks around proud of what he does not have. CM Like a "little red rooster" he is proud to show his feathers off to the town that is not impressed at all. CS When Mr. Bob Ewell shows his true "feathers" some will be ashamed to have such a metaphor walking about the town.
TS I am most like paint on a wooden paint palette. SD I am very friendly which allows me to mingle with different types of people. CM Each person I mingle with is a different shade of paint left on the wooden palette. CM When I mix with people and don't end up liking them it turns into a displeasing color that looks horrible on any canvas. SD When the paint dries it leaves a stain. CM The stain represents the good and bad memories that I have made throughout the years. CM There were friendships that did not hold up which caused them to fade away into nothing. SD As the new friendships are created, the future is created, and I am known to make friends very fast and adapt to my surroundings (compound-complex sentence). CM Adapting to my surroundings is one of the jewels that is embedded inside of me. CM Adapting is like the paints mixing in slow motion. CS The colors mix with other colors creating the group of friends that truly mean something to me.
TS Metaphors help us distinguish us from everyone else, a little warning to people to stay away, a little tip to people that I want to be your friend. CM These metaphors can cause some of the nasty rumors and friendships. CS They give us little clues that bring people together more often.

Cassy,
Your essay has a very nice flow and umbrella. But in the first body paragraph in the first CM you said,"you" instead of your. Lastley,in the second body paragraph of the second SD of the second CM the sentence does not flow right.
